Golebiowski Eye Care opened its doors in 2024 after Dr. Holly spent most of her prior career in both private practice and corporate settings. Throughout those experiences, she realized a need in those communities for a trusted, locally owned and operated practice with the primary focus being on the health and well-being of the patients.
In these corporate settings and in practices purchased by out-of-state private equity companies, the focus was on reimbursing investors and making the corporate team as much money as possible, resulting in compromised eye care. Providers were being incentivized to encourage patients to have unnecessary testing and procedures done in order to increase the cost of their visits and lectured for not cramming enough patients onto tight schedules. Meet the Doctor
Dr. Holly Golebiowski, O.D.
Dr. Holly Golebiowski, O.D.
Dr. Holly is a primary care optometrist, having earned her degree in Boston, MA at New England College of Optometry. She performs comprehensive eye examinations for the whole family, diagnoses and manages ocular disease, performs pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgeries, and fits various contact lenses.
Her journey in optometry began with a deep-rooted fascination for the intricate workings of the eye and a desire to help others maintain their eye health and quality vision. As part of her training and clinical education, she has served patients through rotations at the Veterans Health Administration in Providence, RI and Bedford, MA, the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA, the Children’s Floating hospital at Tufts Medical Center, and the Codman Square Community Health Center in Dorchester MA. At these locations, she provided a full range of routine and specialized eye care services for veterans, children, and others in the Boston community.
She values taking the time to listen to each patient’s needs and providing personalized care, as well as fully informing the patient about their ocular health. By keeping up with the latest technology and advancements in eye care, Dr. Holly provides patients with the best options that meet their specific needs. She prides herself in leading with kindness and compassion and is motivated by creating a long-lasting relationship with her patients.
Dr. Holly resides in Acton with her husband and two children.
